About Mr Lim
Tao was born and raised in Perth. He graduated from the University of Western Australia in 2000 and completed his orthopaedic surgery training in Western Australia. He undertook fellowship training in Arthroscopy and Sports Surgery at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada.
Tao is WA’s first fellowship trained hip arthroscopy subspecialist. He currently sees the most non-arthritic hip patients and performs the most hip arthroscopy cases in Australia. He is the Asia Pacific’s first and most experienced user of the Stryker HipMap computerised analysis system:

Tao has an interest in surgical education and has instructed at surgical training labs in Australia, Asia and Europe. He supervises a hip preservation fellowship together with Mr Lachlan Milne.
Tao has a non-arthritic all-arthroscopic practice with subspecialty interest in the following areas:
